3D Windsocks Graylag from Tanglefree

The new 3D windsocks from Tanglefree are probably the finest 3D windsocks on the market. The package contains 12 pcs Windsocks consisting of 8 pcs with the head down, and 4 pcs with the head up. The flocked heads make the decoys look extremely lifelike when standing and moving in the wind.

Tanglefree’ s Windsocks are made of strong Tyvek. The rods are made of fiberglass, and are a full 70 cm long, this means that unlike Sillosocks, they can also be used in shallow water. Since these windsocks have a built-in backrest, they can also be used when it is completely windless.

Windsocks are efficient decoys and easy to transport, even in larger quantities. They can be used alone, but many hunters combine them with their full body geese, as they improve the flock when they move easily in the wind.

Finally, a little bonus info. If you usually hunt alone, decoys can be a big challenge, as you often must go several times to carry it all. However, this can be solved by using Windsocks and RealGeese decoy geese. I use 36 RealGeese Silhouette decoy geese, and 24 Windsocks when I go alone for geese, this can be combined with a Layoutblind, and the rest of the gear can be transported all at once!
